Our restaurant “Deichgraf” with 100 seats is located in the former lock keeper’s house, built in 1833, directly at the Nordsee-Hotel Arlau-Schleuse. In addition to the extensive view, a spacious terrace directly on the Arlau awaits you in good weather.
As a hotel guest or restaurant guest, you can also enjoy the culinary delights of our North Sea region and let our chef and his team spoil you with specialties from the regional cuisine. Whether fresh fish, smoked specialties or North Frisian delicacies – our dishes are regionally and seasonally inspired. You can find special seasonal delicacies in our culinary calendar.
Variety for every taste – as distinctive as the surroundings. Of course, vegetarian dishes and excursions into international cuisine are also included.

Enjoy honest dishes, lovingly prepared – just as they are loved on the coast: clear, flavorful, and with a combination of tradition and modernity.
External restaurant guests are also warmly welcome.
As an alternative to our à la carte dishes, hotel guests also have the option of joining our half board – either on a daily basis or for the entire stay. As part of the half board, you can choose your main course (meat, fish, or vegetarian) and either a starter or dessert from our daily half-board menu.

In the period from 26.05. – 29.09.2025 our barbecue summer takes place exclusively on Mondays. Look forward to a rustic barbecue buffet with various salads, meat and fish variations as well as a vegetarian offer.
Monday – Sunday: open from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (warm cuisine from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.).
Dogs are allowed in our hotel bar and restaurant. The service staff will be happy to allocate you a table. Please note our dog ABC.
