Hygiene concept of the Nordsee-Hotel Arlau-Schleuse
Below you will find an overview of the additional hygiene measures for increased COVID-19 infection protection of guests and staff, taking into account the guideline Minimum Requirements for Hygiene Concepts of the Federal State of Schleswig-Holstein, the exit strategy of the DEHOGA in Schleswig-Holstein and the supplement to the risk assessment in terms of the SARS CoV2 occupational health and safety standard of the BGN.
Reception
- Disinfectant dispenser next to the reception desk.
- A hygiene protection screen has been installed on the reception counter.
- The workstation at the reception desk and the EC terminal are disinfected regularly.
- Notices in the public areas list the rules of conduct and recommend keeping distance of at least 1.5 m.
- At check-in, guests are advised to wear a medical face mask in the public areas.
- The facilities are aired regularly.
Check In/Check Out
- At check-in, guests are requested to pay contactless if possible and preferably not on the day of departure.
- Wearing a medical face mask (surgical mask or FFP2 mask) is recommended for guests, especially where keeping distance is not consistently possible..
- All room keys and pens are disinfected before each handing out and receiving; different colored containers are provided to distinguish them.
- In order to avoid large gatherings of guests, the conservatory is used for waiting guests during check-in and check-out.
- An information sheet specifying the rules of conduct can be found at the reception.
Breakfast
- The entrance doors to the conservatory remain open.
- Wearing a medical face mask (surgical mask or FFP2 mask) is recommended.
- The conservatory is aired regularly.
- A disinfectant dispenser has been placed at the entrances to the conservatory.
- Upon arrival, guests are asked about the desired breakfast times.
- Depending on the occupancy rate of the hotel, several breakfast times may be scheduled.
- Tables, cruets and flower pots are disinfected each time guests change.
- Distance markings are placed on the floor at the breakfast buffet.
- Currently breakfast is only offered to hotel guests.
Parlours / Restaurant
- The number of seats in the parlours / restaurant has been reduced.
- Wearing a medical face mask (surgical mask or FFP2 mask) is recommended.
- The cloth-covered drink/menu cards have been removed; new cards have been laminated.
- The rooms are aired regularly.
- Tables are disinfected after each table use.
- Table reservations are requested.
- Contactless payment is preferred; EC terminals are disinfected regularly
Floors
- The stair handrails and door handles in the public areas are disinfected regularly.
- Access to the public restrooms is currently limited to one person; regular cleaning of the restroom is documented.
- Upon each departure, all smooth surfaces, door handles and light switches are disinfected.
- Before and after room cleaning, all door handles are disinfected.
- A separate set of cleaning cloths and gloves is used for each room.
- Glasses are solely cleaned in the dishwasher.
- The rooms are well aired.
- More time is scheduled for cleaning.
Outdoor Area
- In the event of large gatherings of guests, guests are requested to wear a medical face mask (surgical mask or FFP2 mask).
- Tables, cruets and flower pots are disinfected each time guests change.
- Contactless payment is preferred; EC terminals are disinfected regularly.
Measures for employees
- Our employees have been trained with regard to treatment of guests and colleagues.
- Our employees are informed about how to behave in case of infection within the company.
- Hygiene instruction with “supplement to the risk assessment in terms of the SARS-CoV2 occupational safety standard” as a basis have taken place.
- The so-called 3-G rule for employees applies to employees according to the current Infection Protection Act.
