Enjoy your stay in our individual and lovingly furnished rooms, which all include a TV, hair dryer, safe, bath/shower and toilet. We provide you with a free bottle of mineral water, as well as the free usage of WiFi. Moreover, we also offer our guests free on-site car and coach parking spaces right next to the hotel.
Our extensive breakfast buffet (breakfast daily from 7:00 am. – 10:00 am.; special times can be arranged for bus groups and business travellers) with mainly regional products ensures to get the day started in a perfect way.
For your four-legged friend, we offer Comfort and Superior double rooms with the “pets allowed” option. Please register your pet in advance (€15 per night). All rooms in our hotel are non-smoking.
Just behind the North Sea dike, we welcome our guests to the thatched-roof Frisian house at the Nordsee-Hotel Arlau-Schleuse. Here, relaxation, warmth, and the unique landscape of the Wadden Sea come together. As a guest, you’ll experience the nature of the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park up close—on guided mudflat hikes, birdwatching excursions, bike tours, or simply by taking in the vast coastal landscape.
Thanks to our certified status as a National Park Partner and our collaboration with the Schutzstation Wattenmeer e.V., some tours start right at the hotel.
Our hotel is both a peaceful retreat and an ideal starting point for excursions in the region. The small port town of Husum, just 14 km away, the North Frisian islands and Halligen, or the Dutch-style town of Friedrichstadt—from here, you can set off on your coastal adventure in a relaxed manner.
