We consider our special location in the midst of the nature of the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park a valuable gift and pursue treating the region in a conscious and sustainable way.

The Nordsee-Hotel Arlau-Schleuse is both an oasis of peace and a great starting point for trips in the region – whether to the town of Husum (home of Theodor Storm), which is only 14 km away, to the surrounding islands and Halligen, or to the Dutch town of Friedrichstadt – not just during a dyke hike you can experience Watt is special about our region!
* For your four-legged friend, we offer Comfort and Superior double rooms with the “pets allowed” option. Please register your pet in advance (€15 per night).
Help yourself to the extensive selection and put together your meals according to your wishes. A vegetarian option is also available here.
Our evening buffet can be booked in advance as half board for the entire stay or on site on a daily basis.
We also welcome external restaurant guests.
We ask you to reserve a table in advance.
In the period from 26.05. – 29.09.2025 our barbecue summer takes place exclusively on Mondays.
You can look forward to a rustic barbecue buffet with various salads,
meat and fish variations as well as a vegetarian offer.
